Frame’s up in Blackpool

The Boulevard Hotel, Blackpool’s newest hotel situated next to the Big One rollercoaster, has reached a new milestone within the construction programme.

Over 120-tonnes of steel and four stories of timber frame construction has completed, showcasing the scale of the building for the first time. The roof works are complete and we’re well underway with installing the windows and doors to make the building watertight.

The Boulevard Hotel will sit alongside the existing Big Blue Hotel, next to the world famous Blackpool Pleasure Beach theme park. The hotel will feature a mix of family rooms, executive suites, conference facilities, and a 150-cover restaurant.

The interior works have begun with completion expected by the end of spring in readiness for the summer holidaymakers and day trippers.
